Több ezer sofőr ellen intézkedtek a rendőrök az egyhetes országos sebesség-ellenőrzési akció idején – közölte az Országos Rendőr-főkapitányság (ORFK) kommunikációs szolgálata a rendőrség honlapján.

A közleményben felidézték: az Európai Közlekedésrendészeti Szervek Hálózata (Roadpol) „Speed” elnevezéssel hirdetett fokozott ellenőrzést – írja az MTI. Ehhez csatlakozva a magyar rendőrség az ország egész területén fokozott sebesség-ellenőrzést végzett. A rendőrök 7709 esetben intézkedtek sebességtúllépés miatt. Ebből 2341 alkalommal meg is állították a szabályszegőket: 868 emberrel szemben bírságot szabtak ki, míg 81 sofőr ellen eljárást kezdeményeztek. A többi 5368 esetben leállítás nélküli ellenőrzés történt, ezek a gépkocsivezetők postai úton kapják meg a kiszabott bírságról szóló értesítést – olvasható a közleményben.
